Made in collaboration with No Vacancy Inn founder Tremaine Emory, the Denim Tears x Converse Chuck 70 High ‘Pan-African Flag’ uses the iconic silhouette as a vehicle for representation and using one’s voice for positive change. The 12oz canvas upper is covered in a design reflecting the African-American flag, itself inspired by Marcus Garvey’s Pan-African flag. Horizontal black and red stripes adorn the sneaker’s side panels, while the heel strip and tongue feature black stars against a green backdrop.
